NWCSL Structure

The North West College Sports League comprises of twenty six further education establishments located within the North West of England.

The colleges compete in a variety of sports including football, netball and mixed hockey.

The league is split into two conferences with thirteen colleges in each conference. Both the North and South conferences have two football leagues (1st Team and 2nd Team) and one netball league. The top two teams from each conference compete against each other in a playoff format.

The mixed hockey league consists of teams from both conferences and the format of the competition is slightly different to the football and netball leagues. The mixed hockey consists of an elite league. More details are available at Mixed Hockey

As from September 2009, Sport4Real will administer an additional two leagues.

A Central Conference will be added to the North West College League.

A new league will be formed in the Pennine region to accomodate colleges and FE establishments within West Yorkshire.

Results need to be emailed to Dean at results@nwcollegeleague.co.uk by the home team within 48 hours of the fixture.

Results and league tables will be posted onto this website on a weekly basis and they will be updated every Friday.
